What are poshformats?

poshformats utilise Plain Old Semantic HTML (POSH) to mark up information on the web. Using tools like GRDDL that information can be converted into reusable data.

This site could be considered an ad-hoc, informal version of microformats.org. The barriers to entry are a lot lower to develop a poshformat than a microformat. It is hoped that ideas which might not be suited to the microformats.org community might find a home here; and equally that this site might act as an incubator with popular ideas being promoted to microformats.org.
